Since we are almost to February, I thought I would post our Christmas update. We had an amazing Christmas, everyone in our family got incredibly spoiled! I think next year everyone is going to be a little disappointed because Santa went all out this year. Even Kasen who is too young to care got spoiled. We now have a ton of baby toys at our house. We did record all of our holiday enjoyment on my new camcorder that Santa was kind enough to drop off early so we could get Kasen's first Christmas in high def. His Aunt Jenae gave (borrowing) him a jumper activity set that he absolutely loves! It is so cute to watch him. He just gets jumping. If I can figure it out I will post it. It is so cute. Kasen got to meet all of his aunts, uncles and even some new cousins. He has a cousin, Spencer, that was born 11 days before him.
They will have so much fun growing up together.
So, Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Johnson's house to celebrate with all of my family. Jarem, Kasen, and I spent the night at my mom and dad's to have Christmas morning there. We were up by 6am, Santa found Kasen over there and then by 7:30 am we were down the street at the Rencher's. After that we just went back and forth. Jade and Bray came over around 2 and holy crap - we have got some spoiled ones in our house. Jade, Bray, and Kasen - are 3 of the most spoiled brothers I have ever known. All in all, we had a great holiday.
We got to see Nate, Megs, and Cambri from Ohio.
Also, Janelle, Dave, and new cousin, Spencer made it from Kentucky.
Brian and Mindy Lou from Oregon (can't wait for the wedding!).
We even got to spend some time with Aunt Sheena from Boise (next year at that time she will be moving home!!!!!! Can't wait!).
Even Jenae and bunch made it from Utah!
Boy - I think that was about it. It was a crazy and fun Christmas!
For New Year's we just went to the cabin in Island Park and just chilled. It was much needed after such an amazing Christmas. Jade skipped out on the cabin New Year's get-together and went to Boise for a hockey tournament, which they kicked butt and won the Championship! We have found out that our boy, Kasen, is quite the homebody. I guess he takes after his mom. There is no place like home. After a few days at the cabin and after the craziness of the holiday's he was ready to be home and get back to his normal routine. It's funny, you wouldn't think a 4 month old would be that attached to his home.
Kasen had his very 1st sleep over without mommy or daddy a few weeks ago. He got to stay at Grannie Rexannie's and B.A. G-pa (that stands for Bad A** Grandpa) with his crazy Aunt Stephie. Jarem and I got to go to Sun Valley for the night and hang out with some friends. It was really nice to get away and one night was all I could handle for right now even though I was pretty much in constant contact with someone at my parent's house between text message, phone calls and skype. I do think I handled my 1st night away from Kasen quite well.
Jarem has been kicking butt on the home projects front. He whipped out a new bathroom for me! It looks so good, it is a million times better than what it used to be. New tile, new tub, new vanity! Looks amazing! He is quite the handy husband. And the basement!! It is totally unrecognizable from what it used to be. In the basement bathroom, you can now take a bath or shower in it. The rooms are almost ready for paint and carpet.
So, that is pretty much everything that we have been up to. You can see why it has taken me so long to post! We have been busy. Hope everyone had a great holiday!
Love,

I love you! You are BRAVE! Just the idea of leaving Spence for the night gives me convulsions....I am amazed by you yet again!
Hey Trish, sorry we didn't get a chance to get together. We've got to do it in 2010. It was hard for us to get away as Ulia was very fussy and I was tired from lots of family activities and wanted some down time.
Kasen seems like a very curious young man. On the pics you posted he has a look saying "oh, what's going on there?"
Impressed w/ Jarem! I just need a house to work on. Post some pics of the basement I am curious to see how it looks now.
Best, Oksana
