How time flies!

Geez, I thought I had just posted those pictures of Kasen wiggling out of his little highchair and now Easter is over, Mother's Day is over and before you know it - summer will be over.  Ugh! So, I need to do a better job is what I am saying.  Especially since this is really the only documentation for Kasen (I am not doing a very good job keeping up with his baby book).  I better get better (just in general, no specifics . . . .).
Well, let us start with Easter.  We had a really nice Easter Sunday.
The Walters' from Boise, came over and had Easter dinner with us.  Jarem did an excellent job on the ham.  I made some pretty good funeral potatoes, I mean what is Easter Sunday without funeral potatoes??  Might as well throw out the Peeps!  Just kidding! Just kidding!!  Whew!  Don't even want to think that.  Anyway, as I was saying before I starting thinking crazy thoughts - the Easter Bunny came and left Kasen a pretty good Easter basket with lots of mommy and daddy's favorite Easter candy.
I think Easter has the best candy out of the holiday candy.  Jelly Belly's, Peeps, Chocolate and more Chocolate, especially the Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs.  Yummy!!  Aunt Sheena even gave him a Easter outfit with a bunny.
He is such a spoiled child.  Hunter and Kylee gave him an Easter monkey and some toys and treats.  He is a pretty lucky kid, that one.  All kind of random, but that was pretty much Easter.

Let's see after Easter, I am sure we got a few teeth in between then (we are now up to 6 teeth).  We have 3 teeth up top and 3 down bottom.  We still like jumping, but have now discovered how to climb and hold on to things and we were scooting backwards.  But more on that later . .
Mother's Day.  I think I have a new favorite holiday!!  Yay, Me!!  Mother's Day is pretty fun for me.  My husband made me breakfast (which he actually does most weekends).  But this breakfast was different.  This was new.  This was good.  I am pretty sure it is almost the same thing my mom used to make on Christmas day and I didn't really didn't like it.  I don't think anyone really did, just my Grandpa.  So, my mom made it every Christmas just for him.  Such a nice mom.  Boy, am I rambling on this post or what??  Anyway, my breakfast. - pretty much baked french toast with fruit. Super, super YUMMY!  After breakfast I got to open my presents!  The kids got me a candle and my lovey dovey husband got me a new camera lens!!!  One of these days I really have to learn how to use my camera  . . . . and photoshop too.  Something to add to the never ending To-Do list.  So, then we went to Costco.  I really like just going to Costco, they always have something you never knew you wanted but suddenly can't live without.  Alright, back to Mother's day.  After Costco we took a drive, found a little trail, went on a nice, little walk.
Let the dogs semi-swim in a itty-bitty creek and had a nice, relaxing day.
Jarem made me an awesome Salmon Caesar Salad and we watched Avatar.
I guess I watched Avatar while Jarem folded and put away laundry.  I know!  My new favorite holiday!
Thanks, babe, for giving me a great day.  I do have to say, the best part of Mother's Day???  Being a mom!!  Yup, that is my favorite part.
So, now we are almost caught up!  School is almost out for Jade and Bray.  Brayden gets out this coming up Wednesday and Jade gets out of school on Friday.
Brayden had to make a rocket that shoots up and then comes back down, while holding an egg. Jarem helped him this weekend.  We will see how it does tomorrow.
Jade had 2 baseballs games yesterday in Malad. So what does the weather do??  It snows.  In May.  Snow.  May.  That meant that Kasen, Bray, and I stay home!  We are fair weather baseball watchers.  Jarem is a good sport and sits out in the freezing cold watching 4 hours of baseball.  Jade did have one of his best games ever!  Won both.  Of course, I mean really??  Did you have any doubt?  Sheesh.
Kasen had his first playdate last week.  A girl too.  Aliza came over to play with us.  She is 1 month and 1 week older than Kasen, I know, he likes the older girls.  He had lots of fun.  I think he scared her.  Kasen is not a quiet child.  He is loud.  I am pretty sure she showed him how to crawl.  He crawls now.  Forward, I should mention.  We have been going backwards for a while now.  We can now go forward.  Mommy and daddy, hahaha!  They are in trouble now.  Babyproof.  He laughs at baby proof.
We went down to the park today.
It was a bit brisk, but fun anyway. Kasen likes the swings, but not too high.  He also likes the slide.  In general he likes being outside.
Well, I am glad I got caught up now because we have a busy summer planned.  As I mentioned before I am going to attempt to be better.  Just in general.  Be better.
